ReGreen is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will develop and close a core book of commercial business and lead strategic partnerships for the company. This individual will be responsible for managing and maintaining a B2B sales pipeline and will be supported by upper management and internal marketing efforts, with the collective goal of driving new business. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the energy efficiency landscape, a strong business acumen, and the ability to adapt to changing environments and learn things quickly.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell commercial Solar and Lighting energy solutions to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers, set follow-up appointments, and prepare presentations as necessary
  • Maintain a “healthy” pipeline of potential clients and effectively manage multiple accounts at once
  • Coordinate with clients, management, and the operations team to ensure that customer inquires and complaints are resolved in a timely manner
  • Utilize CRM software and spreadsheets to manage all sales activities; provide weekly reports on key accounts and updated pipeline of activity
  • Develop and lead strategic partnerships
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and other trainings as required
  • Represent ReGreen by maintaining a professional appearance and conduct
  • Mentor and partner with other internal sales personnel when necessary, to maximize the probability of a sale.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years sales or related marketing/business experience
  • Client relationship or account management experience
  • A strong understanding of CRM software
  • A commanding desire to succeed in Renewable Energy sales

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or 4-year college degree preferred
