The Coalition for Adequate School Housing’s (CASH) 39th annual conference on school facilities will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center on February 26th. ReGreen is excited to participate in this exciting three-day event full of information, networking and lots of fun!
The purpose of the conference is to give businesses, individuals and organizations a chance to learn about state bond funding for school facility projects, get information on updates and changes to the office of public school construction school facility program project processing requirements and information about the grant agreement and new local audit requirements. In addition, it provides a great opportunity to network, develop new business relationships and friendships, learn new information, share new information and have some fun supporting a great cause.
CASH was formed in 1978 with the purpose of promoting, developing, and supporting state and local funding for the construction of facilities for K-12 schools. Construction projects include, but are not limited to, classrooms, playgrounds, lunchrooms, cafeterias and auditoriums. The CASH membership and board of directors is compiled of over l,500 school districts, county offices and private sector businesses. Since 1982, CASH has sponsored or supported over $61 billion in statewide school bonds to build and/or modernize thousands of schools.
This year’s conference will feature exciting events! The annual golf tournament will be hosted by the Teal Bend Golf Club. The James Murdoch Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a CASH member who has shown unwavering commitment and dedication to the betterment of K – 12 school facilities in California. There will also be numerous keynote presentations and round table discussions in addition to informative clinics and workshops. You are guaranteed to leave the conference rejuvenated, renewed and informed!
